Using your own recipes in an AI diet plan proposal
A useful proposal should be checked against the dishes you want to cook and the targets already defined for your needs. This guide explains what to prepare and review in SmartNutriChef. It does not calculate personal nutritional requirements or promise a clinical diet or a particular outcome.

Set the context
Review goals, targets and preferences, then choose to use your recipes.
Review the proposal
Check recipes and servings before professional validation and scheduling.
Start with usable recipes
Open the recipes you want to include. Check that ingredients, quantities and serving counts are consistent. An incomplete recipe makes a proposal harder to assess. Distinguish nutrition for the whole recipe from nutrition per serving: the same figure cannot represent both. Review nutrition data when ingredients or yield change. AI estimates do not become measurements simply because they appear in a recipe entry.
Goals and preferences play different roles
Before generating, review your profile and saved goals. Use targets already defined for your needs rather than deriving them from this guide. Check the preferences and exclusions supported by the workflow and select the recipe collection option. Favourites and LowCal versions can guide selection, but do not replace checking suitability. AI features are optional and use credits.
Check where each meal came from
The proposal can use available recipes and include other options if your collection is too small or unsuitable for particular meals. Do not assume every dish comes from your collection. Review recipe references, ingredients, portions and instructions for each entry. A dish name alone is not a complete recipe. Compare calories and macronutrients on the same serving basis and investigate mismatches rather than assuming all targets have been met.
Move from review to your calendar
An AI-generated diet is a proposal and must be validated by a doctor or nutrition professional before you follow it. Targets and calculations cannot guarantee individual outcomes. After review, organise meals in the calendar and check shopping ingredients. Revisit shopping when recipes or servings change. The public manual template does not generate this proposal, calculate macros or access your recipes.
Frequently asked questions
Does AI use only my recipes?
Not necessarily. If your collection is insufficient or unsuitable for the requested meals, the proposal may include other options to review.
Will the result meet every target exactly?
That is not guaranteed. Check the data and portions and obtain professional validation before following the plan.
Does this page generate a diet?
No. It explains the app workflow being prepared; it is not a public generator or nutrition consultation.
